2017 Sacramento Rainbow Chamber Biz Expo

The Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce Biz Expo is the perfect opportunity for businesses and organizations to showcase services and products to Sacramento-area residents and businesses. The Biz Expo is an opportunity as part of your membership investment in SacRCC with free booths to members.  However, booth space is limited, so to leverage this event to get in front of potential customers, students, and businesses you’ll need to sign up now.

The Sacramento Rainbow Chamber Biz Expo brings together businesses with a wide variety of goods and services from throughout the region. The Expo features engaging exhibits, breakout workshops, and a wine reception finale. Admission is free and so is parking!  See Workshop details below.
Classroom space is limited so register now for a workshop track. Expo guests are not required to pre-register but are invited to check-in for free drink tickets.

Richard Molsby is the managing partner of The Law Offices of Molsby & Bordner, LLP, a regional law firm (affectionately known as MOBO) with offices in Truckee, Sacramento, Reno, South Lake Tahoe, Roseville and Tahoe City.  MOBO practices in several areas including business law, construction law, estate planning, family law, intellectual property, real estate law, and bankruptcy. Using his prior experience as a business consultant and manufacturer’s representative, Molsby grows MOBO and its clients’ business in smart ways.  While managing his practice at MOBO, he has also been a professor at Cal Northern School of Law in Chico. WHA/UC Davis Executive Leadership Scholarship Winners Report

The UC Davis Executive Leadership Program is winding up this week, with the last session of the 10-week personal and professional growth experience on May 16.

Following a competitive selection process, Rainbow Chamber members Glen Chadwell of Bloodsource and Dr. Kelly Byam of Abel Pet Clinic won full scholarships to the program, an exclusive opportunity for RCC members made possible thanks to a generous partnership between Western Health Advantage and UC Davis Extension. Chadwell and Byam were selected from more than 25 applicants for the scholarships, valued at $5,000 each.

“I’m grateful to have the scholarship and the opportunity to enhance my leadership skills,” Chadwell said. “I’m having a great time learning and participating in such rich discussions. Our class is a diverse group of people from many different industries in the Sacramento area. It’s made for a great learning experience.”

“Being in this class alongside many other business leaders has been inspirational, and the materials offered can be life changing,” Byam said. “It has been an honor to represent my company and the Rainbow Chamber here.”

Western Health Advantage, UCD Extension Offer 2 New $5000 Scholarships to RCC Members

Western Health Advantage and UC Davis Extension are co-sponsors of two new Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce scholarships to the UC Davis Executive Leadership Program. The two competitive scholarships, valued at $5,000 each, will be offered exclusively to members of the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce in 2013.

The UC Davis Executive Leadership Program is an intensive 10-week personal and professional growth experience meeting weekly on Thursdays, 1:30 to 8 p.m., March 14 through May 16, 2013.
