Established in 2001, the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce serves gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender business owners, professionals and allies in the six-county Greater Sacramento region. The Chamber works to build a prosperous and inclusive business community and to support causes and public policies that foster business development and equal rights for all people.
Free or low-cost monthly networking mixers, new member orientations and special events offer members the opportunity to meet new customers, develop beneficial business relationships and have fun.
Workshops and seminars presented by Rainbow Chamber members or community partners offer members the opportunity to gain new skills and access resources to help their businesses thrive and grow.
In partnership with our corporate partner SMUD, we provide free workshops to help member businesses get certified as a SMUD small business vendor.
In partnership with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, we help member businesses that are at least 51% LGBT-owned become certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise. As a Rainbow Chamber member, the $400 cost of certification is waived.
Voice in Regional and National Affairs
Rainbow Chamber participates in local and regional business groups that support economic development and business-friendly public policies. Through its non-partisan political action committee, RainbowPAC, Rainbow Chamber members have a vote in endorsements and funding for pro-business and pro-equality candidates for office.
